Dear MMM Friends & Family,
The old year, with its burden of record, has passed away; and the new year, with all its possibilities,
has ushered in. “What advancement have we made in the knowledge of Christ during the
past year? Are we prepared to show, more decidedly than ever before, that we are on the
Lord's side? At this time, when the nations of the world are wavering between infidelity and
idolatry, are we prepared to stand as faithful ambassadors for Christ? Shall we not, at the beginning
of this new year, give ourselves and all we have to God? Shall we not listen to His voice,
which calls us to a renewed contest, to a more thorough consecration of ourselves and our entrusted
capabilities to His service?” {ST, January 2, 1901 par. 1}

Maranatha Newsletter November/December 2011
Dear MMM Friends & Family,
Another year is coming to an end, and we are thankful to God for all His Blessings, we are thankful for you, our M.M.M. family.
We also realize that we are living in troublous times. We are at a time in earths history, when we need greater faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. If ever there were a time to forsake all that this world has to offer, and cling to the cross of Calvary, that time is now.These past few months, we have seen and heard of tragic things happening within and without the church; things that would try the faith of even the strongest believers. I’m reminded of the time when the disciples were battling a fierce storm. Their boat was tossed from side to side. At a distance, they noticed a shinning figure walking upon the foam-capped waves. Then, a voice was heard above the roar of the stormy seas, “Be of good cheer; it is I; Be not afraid.” There was nothing they could do to save themselves, except look to Jesus.

A Church On Fire:
By Joe
La Zona House of Prayer is a living church. It is alive and well be-cause of consistent, active community outreach. Over the years, you have seen our mountain grow, from just a few members, to a now full house. It took time for the church members to learn that part of their service to God, includes outreach ministry. At first, they needed a bit of push to get them started, but the Lord took away their shyness, and now they can hardly wait to march up the mountain roads. Every Sabbath after church, about a dozen of our faithful members grab their Bibles, fill their back packs with literature, and walk nearly two miles up the rocky mountain road to the village of El Cerro del Torro.; Together, they hold a mini church service to families awaiting their arrival.

Maranatha Newsletter May/June 2011
Dear M.M.M. Friends and Family,
What a blessing it is for us to share with you the many wondrous things God is doing here in the mountains of Honduras. With every newsletter we send to you, it is our hope and prayer that you are encouraged, uplifted, and drawn closer to our Lord and Savior.
Every passing day brings us closer to the day Christ will return.. In the short time that remains, we must spend every moment in surrender to God, allowing Him to change every defect of character, until no resemblance of self remains; Only that of our dear Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

Maranatha Newsletter September / October 2010
Greetings Dear M.M.M. Family,
We thank God upon every remembrance of you; praying always that God may richly bless each one of you. We are living in such uncertain times, when we must have a solid connection and personal relationship with God. We need to remember that we are living in the anti-typical day of atonement, a day when the people of God must be searching their hearts, confessing all sin, overcoming by Gods’ grace, and making sure that there is nothing standing between their souls and their Savior ( Leviticus 23:27-29). Dear friends, time is short! and there are signs all around us; signs letting us know that our redemption draweth nigh!
When making plans to come to the States for the summer, we never know, if this will be our last opportunity to visit friends and family in the States. So we want to give thanks to God, for the faithful, capable volunteers, that keep the work going forward in Honduras, making it possible for us to come to the States one more time, and share with our friends and family. We wish we could have seen all of you in person, but we are thankful that we can share God’s blessings through our newsletters. So sit back, get your tall glass of water, and we pray that you will be blessed and encouraged, as you hear of God’s goodness.

Maranatha Newsletter July/August 2010
Greetings Dear M.M.M. Family;
God has been so good to us here in the mission field of Honduras. We look forward to every opportunity to share with you how our Savior has used this humble ministry to reach souls with the present truth for these last days; And with each message of truth, we do not forget the physical needs.
We can’t help but think of how God has blest us with such humble, dedicated, Christian volunteers, whose only thought is to do His will. Whose only desire is to use all of their talents for the finishing of His work.

“A new energy proceeding from beneath is taking possession of the whole synagogue of Satan, and a new life descending heaven is taking possession of every human agent who is consecrated, devoted, and who is seeking to work the works of God....The voice of God calls from heaven, and demands the use of every entrusted capability. Every talent is to be used to its uttermost.” Manuscript 6, Feb. 21, 1895

Maranatha Newsletter February 2010
Greetings M.M.M. Friends,
This is indeed a special newsletter issue. One that we be-lieve has the message of what Maranatha Medical Ministries is all about. Although there are only a couple of articles featured in this issue, may God’s love, mercy and compas-sion for others ring out on every page. Know within your own heart, that God wants to use you to be His helping hands in bringing relief and comfort to someone in need.
Do you feel that your usefulness for Christ is limited, due to your lack of education or skills? Look at our young Missionary Trainees; Just a few months ago, they were, what some would call, “ignorant mountain kids”. Now, today, after learning in the school of Christ, they are able to go out and minister to the rich as well as to the poor.

“In every city, every town, every village, through which He passed, He laid His hands upon the afflicted ones and healed them. Wherever there were hearts ready to receive His message, He comforted them with the assurance of their heavenly Father’s love. All day He ministered to those who came to Him;”

Remember dear friends;
“In choosing men and women for His service, God does not ask whether they possess worldly wealth, learning, or eloquence. He asks, “Do they walk in such humility that I can teach them My way? Can I put My words into their lips? Will they represent Me? M.H. p. 37
